Great bike, documentation is lacking
Assembling the bike was fairly straightforward. The wires run through the handlebars, and you have to be very careful when inserting the bolts as the wires can be in the way. If you force the bolts, you could damage the wires. I had to use a small screwdriver to push the wires aside when pushing the bolts through. Also, be sure to pay a little more and purchase lithium batteries. They're the only batteries that won't leak. My last exercise bicycle was destroyed by leaking batteries. Lastly, the instructions don't explain how to set the control console. There is a "Set" button, with no explanation how to use it. Otherwise, it's a well-thought-out bicycle with lots of features. The upright and first recumbent positions are good, the second recumbent position is too low and the seat angle is wrong. I just wish the bicycle designers would make it with standard bicycle seat mount, so that you can change the seat to one that suits you.
Highly recommend this for cheap and quick cardio
This is such an affordable and convenient way to get some cardio in at home. I purchased one for my parents a few months ago and liked it so much that I bought one for myself.Pros:- It's completely silent (used magnets for resistance which are pretty strong on the highest levels)- Has a platform where users can put place a smartphone, tablet, or book- Very easy to assemble- Easy to move around- Doesn't take up too much spaceCons:- The activity tracker doesn't accurately track activity and runs on batteries so I recommend using a fitbit or apple watch.
Easy assembly and sturdy bike
Was super easy for me to put together by myself. I think it had a total of about 8 bolts. Comes with a little wrench and Phillips head/hex key to tighten bolts. Probably took me about 20 minutes to put it together. Have ridden it a couple of times and it is not wobbly or flimsy from what I can tell. I bought this one because it had a higher weight limit of 300 lbs (and I’m right at that) as opposed to other versions that cut off around 250/275. I did order the version with the bigger seat and it is very good sized and pretty comfortable. So far, so good.
Thoughtfully engineered and designed. Superbly easy to assemble.
For the price, I expected much less than what I received. In fact, this is a well-designed product with clear assembly instructions, written in good English. Few loose parts; many already in place, so photos of what goes where were not necessary. It was a snap to assemble, surprisingly sturdy given its weight. Easy to fold and store. Simple computer, easy to read and manage. A simple ledge serves as an adequate support for an iPad or equivalent. Delivers a workout equal to the fanciest gym-based spinners costing twice or three times the price. Will order a second one for my office..
Great customer service!
This was very easy to put together. We unfortunately got a bike that had a loose cord that came out but we contacted customer service and they got it all straightened out for us, super fast and great to work with! I love riding it, right now starting a new exercise regimen, I am pretty sore, but energy levels are already improving. Living in a place where 6-9 months of the year we have snow it is great to be able to ride a bike inside where it’s warm! I love that it folds up easy so I can put it aside out of the way.
Great value
I have been using this for several months. It is a heavy, sturdy bike. I am impressed by its value compared to so many more expensive options. The only two cons are: because of the compact design, one cannot pedal in a standing position and the seat is not comfortable. I would recommend that they make the seat more contoured to ease pressure points. For me, a bone-shaped neck pillow helped as a makeshift solution, but i suppose a seat cover from sporting goods would do.All in all it was a great purchase for me.
Easy assembly, sturdy, variety of resistance levels
The AtivaFit stationary bike arrived in good condition and all parts were present. Styrofoam surrounded all parts to keep them safe. The assembly instructions were clear and well diagramed. Stickers on the parts clearly identified whether they were for the left or right side of the bicycle. Other stickers identified protective plastic that needed to be removed prior to assembly. The bike has numerous resistance settings and a good choice of seat heights including one for my long legs. I am 6'2". The digital read out of elapsed time, miles, speed, calories and pulse will help you track your progress. If you come back later it will pick up where you left off. The rubber mat keeps my phone in place while I listen to podcasts. I set the bike in the basement on top of a rug that is on top of carpet. It seems much sturdier than I imagined it would be so I am a happy camper.
Do Something While You’re Doing Nothing
I love my bike! This was definitely one of the best investments I made during the pandemic. I’ve had it for about 5 months now and try to use it every day. I am 6’0” 195lbs for scale. It’s small (meaning it doesn’t take up too much space), quiet and super easy to set up. I just set it up off center of my TV, hop on and at minimum try to get in 30 minutes of cycling a day which comes to around 10 miles. It’s nice to mix a full workout in with it as well or simply cycle and “do something while you’re doing nothing.” You’re gonna watch TV anyway, might as well set this bike up in front of it and burn some calories.10/10. Love this product. It’s simple and gets the job done. Of course if you’re looking for a bike that has a lot of features, this isn’t the one for you, but this is reasonably priced for the simplicity of the product in my opinion.
At first, meh. 3 months later I love it.
I got the one with the larger seat and screen. At first, very under impressed. But then I realized that I'm not using this for cycling in a competitive way, I'm using it to supplement my Olympic lifting and actually now love it. It's no concept2 bike erg. You can't trust the calories or distance of the bike. BUT if you're using to get a good sweat in, turn on your Fitbit/Apple watch and Bam, you're good. I wouldn't recommend using it for a WOD with a specific calorie/distance goal but for a spin bike that lets you pedal, it gets the job done. Also, no need to buy a water bottle clasp, fits right in the stand. Perfect for my iPad Pro to do work on as well. Overall after 3 months, I enjoy it way more than I thought I would.
Good Quality Stationary Bike!
I purchased this stationary bike for indoor exercise during the winter months. It was totally easy to assemble. I am a woman and did it by myself within about 40 minutes. They provide very good details and diagram for assembly in the instruction manual. The bike is very comfortable to ride and easy to peddle. It is very quiet when riding. The bike is also easy to fold and move on the attached rollers. It has an area over the display to rest your cell phone and keep it handy. The display has large numbers that are easy to read. This is a very good quality stationary bike and I am very happy with it. In addition, the seller was very cordial and responsive when I had a question. The packaging was very good and it arrived on time as promised.
